As we all know, Sarah Brown originated the role of Caroline Benson in 1996 and even won 3 Emmy's for the role. Unfortunately in 2000, she left GH. I have 4 tapes of Sarah as Carly. They DO NOT however, run consecutive (in order). Below is a brief description of each.

The Jason and Carly Collection

Carly #1:

Caroline Benson arrives in Port Charles!!! Caroline moves into a room above Kelly's and introduces herself to all the General Hospital staff members as "Carly Roberts". Carly enrolls in the nurses' program and manages to ease her way closer to Bobbie Spencer. Carly and Jason meet at Jake's Bar and after a few nights of flirting end up playing a game a pool and begin a sexual relationship on the conditions of "No names... don't ask". Carly becomes friends with Bobbie and Tony and even fills in for Bobbie at the Nurse's Ball where she learns Robin Scorpio, who reveals she is HIV positive, is Jason's girlfriend and lashes out at him for sleeping with her but not revealing his girlfriend was HIV postive. Carly starts to fall for Tony. Bobbie decides to look for her daughter and Luke helps and learns "Caronline" has left Florida. Luke learns "Carly" is Caroline but tells Bobbie "Caroline" is dead. Carly gets closer to Tony and Lucas as Bobbie becomes suspicious that Carly is out for her husband.

Sonny & Carly #4! (Includes more aftermath of the miscarriage, S&C go to the Island. Carly takes Michael and moves out of the penthouse. S&C have to get married in order to keep her from testifying. )

Carly is 8 months pregnant with what she thinks is Tony's baby. Carly breaks it off with Tony and runs to Jason for help. Carly tells Jason about who she is and that Bobbie is her mother and explains she came to Port Charles to destroy Bobbie but ended up falling in love with Tony. Carly also tells him how she slept with AJ one night and the baby could be his as well. Jason agrees to allow her to say he is the father of the baby but warns if anyone asks him to his face he will not lie. Both AJ and Tony continue to harass Carly while she lives with Jason. Carly goes into premature birth and ends up hemorrhaging and almost dies. Jason is left to make major decisions for the baby's medical care and allows the hospital to perform a heart operation to correct a birth defect. Carly wakes up and is struck with a major case of post Partum Depression resulting from feeling guilty the baby was not healthy when born. Carly can't even hold her son. Carly asks Jason to care for Michael while she takes off for while. At the baby's baptism Jason names the baby "Michael" after Sonny and Carly shows up. Carly reveals to Bobbie that she is her daughter Caroline.

Sonny & Carly #1

Carly pushes for Sonny to kick Hannah out because she is a FED. Carly and Jason become closer to entering a relationship when Jason kisses her after Bobbie's "non-wedding" to Jerry Jacks. When Carly sees Jason and Elizabeth dancing at Kelly's she panics and goes to Sonny's. Sonny says Carly is only going to destroy Jason in the end and says he knows a way to set him free. Carly says she's game and they sleep together. When Jason arrives after being shot by Morino's men, Carly comes down in Sonny's shirt. Jason leaves hurt both mentally and physically and turns to Liz for help. Carly accuses Sonny of setting her up and Sonny says now Jason knows the truth about her. Carly finds Jason at Liz's studio but Jason continues to push both her and Sonny away. Jason is able to forget the incident with Sonny, but not Carly. Jason and Liz continue to get close and Carly does everything she can think of to prevent it.

Sonny & Carly #2

Carly makes her appearance at a Quartermaine Party as "Carly-Babes" and embarrasses the family. Jason continues to avoid Carly and has minimum contact with Sonny as he heals from his gunshot wound. Carly and AJ agree to try and have a civil marriage. Carly starts to feel ill and suspects she's pregnant. Bobbie almost lets it slip to Sonny that Carly is pregnant. Carly goes to a clinic after taking a home pregnancy test and Tony ends up being there. Tony agrees not to tell anyone she's pregnant as long as she gets good prenatal care and tells AJ soon. Carly sets up an appointment for an abortion but can't go through with it and walks out just as Bobbie arrives. AJ learns that Carly is pregnant and destroys her room looking for the test. AJ and the rest of the Quartermaines think the baby is Jason's and AJ loves the idea of raising Jason's child as revenge. Sonny goes to the Quartermaines and announces that the baby is most likely his and not Jason's. Jason gives Sonny proof AJ hired the arsonist to set fire to their warehouse and Sonny uses it to get Carly and Michael away from the Quartermaines. Sonny forces Carly to move in with him and takes hr to the Dominican Republic to get a divorce from AJ and they begin to bond.

Sonny & Carly #3

Carly tries to apologize for letting Bobbie go through his desk which ends up getting Bobbie kidnapped by Sorrell. Carly begs for forgiveness for betraying Sonny and Finally gets him to agree that letting Bobbie get into his desk was not the worst thing she could have done. Carly and Sonny's friendship starts to grow as they agree that they could have a real family if they try. Sonny announces that he and Carly will eb getting married and Carly is appalled. Eventually Carly agrees to marry him and takes Jason's rings off to wear his. Carly and Sonny go to the Quartermaines and Carly argues with AJ and ends up losing her balance anf falling down the stairs. Tony Jones tells Sonny the placenta has torn away from the uterus and the baby is too young to be born and they lose their child.
